Prosecution looks into Tablo allegations




The prosecution is deciding whether to launch a probe into suspicions that Tablo, leader of hip-hop group Epik High, fabricated his American university degree.

Yonhap News reported that the prosecution is reviewing requests posted by netizens on its website, which call for an investigation into the allegations.





Tablo is widely known to be a graduate of Stanford University, but some of his enemies have claimed he did not attend the school.

Another allegation has it that he had once possessed dual citizenship of Korea and Canada. In general, Korea does not allow double citizenship.

Through his legal agents, Tablo has revealed what he claimed is his school report cards and Canadian citizenship. But despite his efforts, controversy surrounding him has escalated, leading him to suspend his music activities in Korea.  (KH Online)
